When damage from an electrical fire shuttered two-year-old Union Square rock club Radio in 2013, the loss of a promising addition to our music scene was bemoaned. But the space will be filled with sound again thanks to the debut of Thunder Road, a new club/restaurant from veteran music dudes-about-town Dan Millen of Rock On! Concerts and former Harpers Ferry owner Charlie Abel. Set to open this month, the club already has bookings—including Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band—slated through May.
