With three full bars, backroom pool tables for between-set play and just about zero bad vantage points, Brighton Music Hall offers a lot in its 476-person capacity space. Billings range from on-the-rise local outfits to established indie acts poised for bigger venues and rock stalwarts working reunion and anniversary circuits (Chicago emo/punk rockers Alkaline Trio recently played a sold-out four-night stand), while the libations include some very reasonable shot/beer combos. And with the recent news that Cambridge institution T.T. the Bear’s will be closing in July, we’re celebrating our dingy but beloved rock clubs now more than ever.
