As Boston’s largest yet most overlooked dining destination, Dorchester is at least recognized for having our best Vietnamese restaurants. Anh Hong is nicer-looking than most, but its style is trumped by substance: This Fields Corner eatery stands out for the absurdly cheap, wondrous seven-course feast that is bò bay món, aka beef seven ways. The long menu also features equally fine, less-indulgent dishes. Don’t miss the canh chua, sour fish soup. It’s the epitome of the great neighborhood restaurants that form the beating heart of our dining scene.
