It’s easy to mistake Fenway’s lively Citizen Public House for just another gastropub, with its whole pig roasts and post-Sox crowds. But that plain brown wrapper hides a whiskey bar of staggering riches: over 200 bottles. There’s a boatload of single-barrel and small-batch bourbons, a great selection of ryes, Irishes and Canadians, the de rigueur bevy of single-malt Scotches, en vogue Japanese whiskies and rarities from Taiwan and France.
