It’s easy to scoff at mocktails. They typically languish in a forgotten corner of the menu, unattended to by any but the pregnant or sober. So shout-out to Seth Freidus, beverage director at this coastal cuisine-focused Harvard Square hit, for being as creative and ambitious with his booze-free drinks as he is with spirited stuff. From ginger ale spiked with pickled cherry-pepper puree to a just-sweet-enough blackberry-thyme shrub, these mocktails mean serious business.
