It’s no wonder that Jenny Williamson’s confections look like works of art—this baker has a background in painting and sculpture. During sessions with couples at her studio, the 20-year veteran pulls inspiration from gown fabrics, floral bouquets and china patterns while sketching out intricate designs with sugarwork, gold and silver leaf and sculptural elements. Then come the personalized—and delectable— flavor combinations, such as chocolate cake with a cabernet chocolate truffle filling for red wine lovers.
