Our only complaint about rooftop bars is that the season to enjoy them is mercilessly short. The Envoy Hotel has fixed that, though. Not only does its Lookout lounge offer stellar skyline views on sunny days, but when the mercury drops it rolls out a half-dozen heated, clear “igloos” that fit eight to 10 fleece blanket-swathed sippers who, with the press of a button, can request another round. And the Envoy will get even hotter in July, when capacity jumps from 290 to 390 with a 2,500-square-foot expansion.
