Finding Neverland

Peter Pan may never have grown up, but Finding Neverland certainly has. Adapted from the 2004 Oscar-winning film, the musical took wing at the A.R.T. in Cambridge before soaring onto Broadway. Directed then and now by local Tony winner Diane Paulus, the show follows playwright J.M. Barrie, who struggled with writer’s block until he met the Llewelyn Davies brothers and their mother, Sylvia. Enchanted by the boys’ infectious imagination, Barrie found inspiration for the story that would become Peter Pan. Finding Neverland flies back into town for a run at the Boston Opera House on Aug. 8-20. / Noreen Plabutong
