Boston Christmas Festival

Make your lists and check them twice: ’Tis the season to stock up on holiday gifts and stocking stuffers at the annual Boston Christmas Festival. From Nov. 2 to 4, the Seaport World Trade Center transforms into a winter wonderland, showcasing more than 350 pop-up boutiques proffering goods from American artisans, including recycled sheepskin accessories from Merry Trading Company, phosphorous orbs from Glow in the Dark Glass and nautical-inspired home goods from Whaling City Knots. Guests can sample and purchase tasty treats from the farmers market and also grab a close-up view of the gingerbread house competition during which pastry chefs from across the city present their confectionery masterpieces—the past 24 bouts have seen everything from miniature models of the Zakim Bridge to an entire block of the North End.
