Brew at the Zoo

Go wild at the Franklin Park Zoo’s annual Brew at the Zoo on Aug. 18. Sample suds from 43 New England breweries, including Aeronaut Brewing Co. and Clown Shoes, while noshing on treats from vendors like Back Deck. With the ability to roam through the zoo, those wanting to sip on the wild side can go on a prehistoric expedition to the new Destination Dino exhibit, where guests can interact with an animatronic T. rex or get their hands dirty while excavating fossils. And join historian Michael Reiskind for an illustrated talk on the lost breweries of Roxbury and Jamaica Plain that once made Boston the U.S. city with the most breweries per person.
