'Bride of Frankenstein'

They say there’s someone out there for everyone, even Frankenstein’s Monster, who longs for a “friend like me” in the sequel to the film adaptation of Mary Shelley’s iconic novel—and director James Whale makes it happen. After having initially declined to be a part of Bride of Frankenstein, Whale delivered a mate and received raves in return: The 1935 classic, which has the unhinged Dr. Pretorius blackmailing Dr. Frankenstein into proceeding with his experiments, was lauded as being even better than the original.
