The Society of Arts + Crafts is headed back to its old ’hood for the 12th annual CraftBoston Holiday. Browse the lively shopping event and juried exhibition at the Hynes Convention Center, which boasts contemporary crafts from more than 175 artists working in mediums from ceramics to fiber and glass. There’ll be 57 jewelers on hand, including Somerville-based designer Lauren Blais’ Victorian era-inspired bling, metalsmith and sculptor Donna Veverka’s sterling silver rings and cuffs and local Kimberly Huestis of Porcelain and Stone, whose ceramic goods are seen at right. Be the first to mingle with the master crafters during a Holiday & Highballs preview party on Dec. 14, where guests enjoy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and handmade tumblers. And get your holiday shopping haul at the Hynes Convention Center on Dec. 15-17. / Julia Aparicio
