Finish Line at the BCA's Calderwood Pavilion

Five years after the Boston Marathon bombings, the Boston Theatre Company presents a staged reading of its documentary play Finish Line, based on firsthand experiences of the tragedy’s survivors. Over the course of nearly three years, co-creators Joey Frangieh and Lisa Rafferty interviewed 94 Bostonians who were affected by the bombings and wove their words into a narrative that was first staged in Boston last year. The pair selected 16 stories for these intimate portraits, including a mother of two, a news anchor, a trauma surgeon and a newspaper photographer. / Brynne Crawley
