mfaNOW Overnight: Launch Party

Attendees won’t get to wrangle with exhibits come to life alongside Ben Stiller at the Museum of Fine Arts’ mfaNOW Overnight, but this night at the museum promises to be just as eventful. A kickoff for a seasonlong celebration of contemporary art, this first of four free all-night parties invites guests for an after-hours peek at the museum’s current exhibits—including the rare chance to catch all of Christian Marclay’s 24-hour video collage The Clock—plus live music and DJs, food trucks, lawn games, artist demos and pop-up performance art. Visitors are welcome to stay the night or pop by in the early morning hours for coffee, yoga, kids’ activities and more. Practice the art of the slumber party when the MFA opens its doors at 6 pm for the Overnight on Sept. 17.
