Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show is perhaps best known for its bucolic, country-fried hit “Wagon Wheel.” Fun fact: Bob Dylan originally recorded the chorus of that song in 1973, but he never finished the track. OCMS frontman Ketch Secor picked up where he left off 25 years later, adding verses and cementing a certified Americana jam, which would go on to be famously covered by the likes of ’90s crooner-turned-country star Darius Rucker. So it’s fitting that the Nashville-based country/folk outfit was tapped to help celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Dylan’s iconic, Nashville-recorded Blonde on Blonde. Two tribute shows to that album evolved into a live album, and the Grand Ole Opry inductees will stop by the Orpheum Theatre in support of it on May 25.
