Recreating Nature

Fountain Street Gallery is going au naturel with Recreating Nature, its latest exhibit showcasing a collaboration by 13 of the gallery’s Associate Members. Exploring individual perspectives on the outside world through a range of mediums, the collection highlights works by locally grown artists Nan Hass Feldman and Stacey Piwinski, as well as artwork by abstract, mixed-media artist Patty deGrandpre. Made using ink on drafting film, deGrandpre’s I Wish This Day Would Never End (seen above) depicts a set of three luminous panoramic mountainscapes featuring blurred, purple-hued skylines. Blossom at this field of creativity at Fountain Street Gallery, on display through Aug. 26.
