Starlab Fest

It’s that time of year, when fall lurks around the corner and we scramble to get a fix of sun, fun and BBQ while we still can. Check all those boxes at Starlab Music & Arts Festival this Labor Day weekend! The plucky DIY production studio will host its seventh annual outdoor fest at creative commons space the ARTfarm, set to feature local and national bands like Screaming Females, Animal Flag and Save Ends, stand-up comedy and more. Music begins at 2 pm, but gates open at noon for a vintage flea market, a pop-arcade, beer, wine and cider, and barbecue from Scott Brothers New American Meat Co. (there’ll be veggie options too). Everyone’s a star at this end of summer bash in Somerville. Tickets $15 at the door, $12 advance.
