Mike Lowell Book Release Party

On Sunday, May 18, the Improper Bostonian is pleased to be a sponsor of the Mike Lowell Book Release Party. Taste of Beacon Hill

On Tuesday, May 20, the Improper Bostonian is proud to be a sponsor of the Taste of Beacon Hill, a gala featuring a variety of participating restaurants. Now in its 8th year, this BHBA fundraising event allows attendees to sample food from many of Beacon Hill's top restaurants. The event will be held at the Liberty Hotel. Tickets for the event will be sold at the BHBA office (74 Joy Street, 3rd floor), as well as the Cambridge Trust Company (65 Beacon Street). Ticket prices include $65 in advance (or buy five and get one free) and $85 at the door, and will be available May 1st. Radio 92.9 EarthFest

On Saturday, May 24 , the Improper Bostonian is proud to be a sponsor of Radio 92.9 EarthFest. The event will be held at the Hatch Shell in Boston. EarthFest will take to the stage from Noon to 6:00 p.m. featuring the stellar music line-up of CAKE, Cracker, the BoDeans, and the English Beat. In addition to great musical performances, the Radio 92.9 EarthFest will once again feature a family stage and activity area with interactive programs and games for children. Positive Spin for ALS

On Sunday, June 22, the Improper Bostonian is pleased to be a sponsor of a Positive Spin for ALS. This bike fundraiser will take place at The Longfellow Club in Wayland. Proceeds from this event will benefit ALS research and patient service programs. 2008 Life is good Festival

On Saturday, July 19, the Improper Bostonian is proud to be a sponsor of the 2008 Life is good Festival to be held on Boston Common. From seed spitting and Double Dutch to soccer kicks, tug-o'-wars and football flings, it's an invitation to free family fun and healthy play. Thousands are expected to grab a big slice of summer fun as Life is good celebrates the sunny season with great live music, classic backyard food, and a colorful mix-of good time games and activities for adults and children alike. The festival, produced in partnership with the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, will benefit Project Joy, a Boston-based non-profit organization whose mission is to use the healing power of play to transform children impacted by violence, poverty and loss into healthy and joyful players in the game of life.
