Presented by the Jewish Arts Collaborative, the celebration of Jewish food is taking a Sephardic theme in its eighth year, serving fresh takes on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors courtesy of spots like Mamaleh’s Delicatessen, Whole Heart Provisions, Juliet and the Fireplace, where chef Jim Solomon is working on a dish dubbed “The Spanish Inquisition Remembered” with garlicky cocido de garbanzo and spinach over couscous. Ruka, Backbar, Privateer Rum, Jack’s Abby and Citizen Cider will provide the booze, so head to the Back Bay Events Center for a nosh on Feb. 26.
SERV (Society for Event Planners: Restaurant Venues) presents a special conversation between Bryan Rafanelli (founder and CFO of acclaimed event planning and design company Rafanelli Events) and Garrett Harker (restaurateur behind spots like Island Creek Oyster Bar and Eastern Standard) that features a discussion, a Q&A session and a light breakfast.
