The only menu item at Island Creek Oyster Bar as beloved as the bivalves is the buttermilk biscuit, and chef de cuisine Nicki Hobson is showing it off in a decadent breakfast sandwich available during the restaurant’s seasonal Saturday lunch service. The warm, towering pastry is pulled apart at its flaky seams and filled with a sunny egg, thick-cut bacon, melted cheddar and truffle honey. That, plus the pile of hand-cut chips, will fuel you through nine innings at Fenway and then some.
