Fans of Beat Brasserie’s earth bowls no longer need to wait until dinner to get their fix: The Harvard Square restaurant launched lunch service earlier this month. Midday exclusives include the Sunny Bowl, which features Israeli couscous, roasted chickpeas, hummus, yogurt-cucumber tzatziki and a Greek kale salad with olives and feta cheese, plus satisfyingly crunchy golden beet chips. Diners can also opt for a protein, like chicken, beef, a black bean and quinoa cake or the seared tuna (pictured). Expect even more seasonal options to debut in the coming months. “We have fun, creative versions,” co-owner Jack Bardy says, “and they’re always changing.”
