"The devil went down to Georgia. The devil met Tom Walker. The devil wears Prada. But before all this, the devil made a deal with a guy named Faustus. See the original portrayal of the devil as the infernal wheeler and dealer of souls in Suffolk University’s adaptation of Doctor Faustus. Elliot Norton award-winner David R. Gammons directs Christopher Marlowe’s classic about the ultimate Vegas-style gamble with the highest stakes: eternal damnation."

"Hark, a light! It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but you can start getting into the Christmas spirit by going to Faneuil Hall this Saturday for the 27th annual Christmas tree lighting. While the main event takes place 5 pm, when 25,000 lights will be lit on the 75-foot-tall tree, entertainment will be available throughout the day in the form of carolers, sports celebrities, and characters from the Boston Ballet Nutcracker. (And, of course, Santa will be around for photo ops.) Though the weather’s growing colder, the festivities will make your spirits brighter."

"You lent your private jet to a friend, and now you won’t be able to make it to Hollywood for the American Music Awards this weekend. Never fear: on Sunday, Boston hosts its very own Music Awards show, featuring artists and producers from right here in New England. Nominees from a wide variety of genres will be attending and performing. With an Academy composed of music professionals from every aspect of the industry, this event brings together the entire musical community of New England. It also raises money for local music charities. VIPs can even have cocktails with the stars before the show—no private jet necessary."
