With the opening of Stasia Steele’s the Little Details studio this month, you can get to know the people who’ll be poking around your underwear drawer face-to-face. The professional organizer got into the biz seven years ago after the one-time nanny and personal assistant handled not one, but two moves within the same month. Now, she and four employees pack up belongings, track down handymen, keep renovations on time and even fly or drive to prepare a new home, in addition to helping families about to welcome babies or those looking to downsize. “Change is not easy for anyone, even when you’re looking for that positive effect,” Steele says. “You know it’s going to be a better space, but it’s still hard.”

During after-hours workshops ($25-$100) in the North Cambridge space, she’ll sit down with five participants to chat about everything from uncluttering digital files to tackling that funky angle in your closet. Visitors can also stock up on organizing supplies, including natural cleaning products, waterproof Eagle Creek shoe organizers and slim hangers. Says Steele, “We help our clients with everything underneath their roof.”
