It’s time to cut those dead winter ends off with a fresh new cut. Bobs are back and such a flexible style; longer, shorter, tousled, sleek, asymmetrical, blunt. There are so many options anyone can pull it off. For a more dramatic and fun look incorporate bangs.  I love that the bangs are more versatile now either really heavy or to be worn pushed to the side, straight down, or even pinned back. Look to lots of heavy side parts or center in styling to make a statement this Spring. Also this season, I’m loving the comeback of ponytails from being high and sleek to ones with lots of texture.

Double processes are coming back full swing! Katy Perry and Kristen Stewart went Platinum recently and they look great. I love the precision and care in doing a double process blonde. Anyone can go platinum as long as you have the right tone; Ice, Pearl, Vanilla, Beige, or even a Smokey Silver Blue. Good home care and a diligent regime will make this upkeep beautiful and healthy! If you’re feeling daring it’s a great canvas to try some pastels too.

Right now I’m loving baby lights a few shades lighter than your natural color for a soft sun kissed look. Adding them mostly around the face but then sprinkled throughout the hair is the perfect way to start brightening up for Spring. If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, add a pop of rose gold for blondes or some copper to brunettes to give a little extra glow.

My vision for Spring will be bringing the light, color and life back into the hair. I see haircuts with texture and movement giving a sexy, soft naturalness about them. Coming out from the cold winter where most of the everybody has been hiding their hair under winter hats or big jackets, Spring is the time to come out to celebrate life and beauty.
