Boston Design Week kicked off its festivities with AD 20/21, a gala preview to benefit the New England chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers’ scholarship fund.

Held at the BCA’s Cyclorama, the evening drew the likes of honoree Maurice N. Finegold, special guest Aryanour Djalali, artist, collector and curator Diane McManus Jensen and her other half, David, the personification of style Karen Rotenberg and the avuncular Michael, art photographer extraordinaire Joe Greene, shelter mag cuties Kyle Hoepner and Shannon Pastuszak, puckish PR hottie Andrew Joseph, interior design babes Eileen Patterson and
Liz Georgantas, gallery owners Ian Corbin, Rob
ert Klein, Alison Collins and Richard Boiano, statuesque art collector Ruta Laukien, the Aspen-kissed Bill Emery and one other man who, when asked why he was so tanned, said, “I went dumpster diving behind Trump Tower.”

The evening’s best goodbye: “If I don’t see you, say hello to all those other people I never see.”
