The Boston Landmarks Orchestra held its annual gala at the Royal Sonesta Hotel on Oct. 4. Partygoers had the chance to conduct a group of musicians during the cocktail hour before enjoying dinner and an auction with musical accompaniment from the children’s chorus at the Conservatory Lab Charter School. The 250 guests raised more than $300,000 to support the orchestra’s free summer concerts on the Esplanade and its community education programs.
