Catholic Charities Greater Boston’s annual Christmas Gala celebrated the season with a dinner and awards presentation at the Seaport Boston Hotel on Dec. 8. The event honored the work of member John “Jack” Joyce for his contributions to the cause and the Boston community. The evening’s 175 guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, banquet and a performance by the Big City Band while raising $115,000 in support of the charity.
