All the A-list socialites were out for the Fete of Food and Wine, a fundraiser for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation held at the Museum of Fine Arts.
The evening began with cocktails in the Upper Rotunda (surrounded by European paintings and Hanoverian silver), followed by dinner and a live auction in the Shapiro Courtyard, and all manner of tomfoolery unfolded among the riotous colors of the new Takashi Murakami exhibit.
Present and accounted for: Co-chairs Sabra Katz and Mark Rubin, Nigerian-Norwegians Uzo and Erik Erlingsson, Farrah Fawcett-lookalike Dianna Rezza, brunette bombshell Jill Skolnik, the always dapper Andrew Jaffe, fashion avatar Elisha Daniels, Wellesley doyenne Ashley Bernon, ebullient redhead Jennifer Kinsman, attorney and opinion-maker Mike Ross with his gorgeous other half, Karolina Chorvath, yummy mummy Shannon Pastuszak, the babe-a-licious Meg Miller and her main man, Robert White, party boy Bill Emery and the stunning Sofia Ostrer. The live auction wreaked a bit of havoc on a few checkbooks, and dessert and dancing took place in the America’s Wing.
The evening’s most trenchant observation: “Who knew you could help a digestive disorder by eating and drinking too much?” ◆
