Food For Free held its 13th annual Party Under the Harvest Moon on Oct. 14 at MIT’s Morss Hall. Founded in 1981, the charity collects fresh food destined to be thrown away and delivers it to meal programs, pantries and shelters; this year, two million pounds will be rescued. Some 300 guests enjoyed a performance by One Thin Dime and a silent auction, which helped raise $80,000 by night’s end.
