The Associates of the Boston Public Library honored four authors at the 29th annual Literary Lights gala, held on April 23 at the Boston Park Plaza, where more than 400 guests were gifted books by the event honorees. The evening, which supported the David McCullough Conservation Fund and the William O. Taylor Art Preservation Fund, raised $445,000, a record amount for preservation and promotion of the library’s treasures.
