Judging by Runway to Miracles—a fundraiser fashion show for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital—the western suburbs are populated almost exclusively by impossibly beautiful women and their absurdly adorable offspring.

The Improper was proud to sponsor the event, which was held at the Wellesley Country Club.
It began with cocktails and a gargantuan silent auction, followed by a catwalk presentation starring the stunning moms and their kids. Front and center: co-chairs Kristie Zaccagnino and Dalia Nuwayhid (whose parents flew in from Dubai for the occasion), the delectable Caroline Coco Hudson, gorgeous news anchor Sara Underwood, fitness guru Georgia Janos, fashionisti Gretchen Monahan and Daniela Corte, broadcasting broad Sue Brady Hartigan, Celtics sylph Heather Walker, The Improper’s own Wendy Semonian Eppich, emcee and swimsuit model Susan Wornick, the unsinkable Kelley Tuthill, beneficent babe Caroline Balz and one woman who said, “I may not know much, but I know my way around the bar at the Wellesley Country Club.”

However, the evening’s choicest exchange came when someone asked one of the moms how she’d gotten her kids to participate in the runway show. “Easy,” she answered. “I told them they’d get out of school early—and if they didn’t do it, they’d have to visit my mother-in-law this weekend.”
