On Jan. 25, the Jett Foundation held its second annual Shine a Light on Duchenne Gala at the State Room, where guests enjoyed a dinner, auction and awards ceremony. Named for the son of founders Christine and Stephen McSherry, the charity raises funds to fight Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in children. The evening’s 260 guests brought in more than $200,000 for the Jett Giving Fund to help families with medical equipment.
