On Jan. 26, the Jett Foundation brought 300 people together at the Museum of Science for its gala, Shine a Light on Duchenne. Founded in 2001, the charity increases awareness of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and raises funds for programs, education, research and advocacy. The dinner and auction, which raised more than $100,000, also featured awards for Boston photographer Bill Brett and Cindy Quitzau, founder of Gals for Cal, another Duchenne charity.
