NBD, just hanging out in a friend’s living room and listening to Carly Simon sing with her amazingly talented offspring, Sally and Ben Taylor, and the latter’s songbird fiancee, Sophie Hiller.
That was the scenario when Back Bay beauty Mahsa Noble opened her home to a group of friends to raise money for Sally Taylor’s transformative arts-based social initiative Consenses. Among the attendees: nightlife king Patrick Lyons and his queen, Kristina, Chestnut Hillion Brant Binder, debonair do-gooder David Santulli, ridiculously handsome radiologist Salvatore Viscomi, beauty expert Jacqueline Guelli, fashionista Elisha Daniels, distinguished surgeon Richard Koehler, iconoclastic artist Jane Maxwell and a handful of others.
The evening was uber-glam yet warm and convivial, and the opportunity to watch a music legend perform in such an intimate venue was a memorable treat, to say the least. As one guest put it, “It’s not every day you get to hang out with the woman who rhymed ‘yacht’ with ‘apricot.’”
