JCC Greater Boston opened its Newton campus on March 7 for its annual gala JCC@333, named for the center’s 333 Nahanton St. address. The event brought together more than 350 guests for a cocktail party in the recently renovated theater and dinner in the gymnasium to honor Winnie Sandler Grinspoon, president of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, with the charity’s Norman B. Leventhal Community Leadership Award. The evening raised more than $525,000.
⇐ The Lenny Zakim Fund hosted its ninth annual Casino Night on March 3 at the Four Seasons Hotel for a night of Las Vegas-themed revelry, including mystery prize boxes, passed hors d’oeuvres, tasting stations and live and silent auctions. Major donors enjoyed a cocktail hour inside the One Dalton model unit on the second floor of the hotel before joining guests for an evening hosted by TV personality NeNe Leakes. The 300 guests raised more than $200,000.
