The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children hosted its annual Turning Points gala on April 4 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. The Boston Globe received the inaugural Voice of the Child Award for its coverage of child welfare issues, and the charity’s chairman, Stephen Pagliuca, was recognized for his years of service. More than 300 people attended the dinner and auction, which raised more than $750,000.
