In time for its 120th birthday, America’s oldest arts-and-crafts nonprofit got a shiny new home in the Seaport with three times the space of its former footprint in Back Bay. The new location feels as contemporary as the artists it showcases, and with 9,000 square feet, there’s plenty of room for exciting exhibits like inaugural show Radius— which highlighted work by craftspeople who live within one mile of the building—not to mention a studio for an artist-in-residence, event space for workshops and lectures, and a retail gallery selling laser-cut coasters, ceramic planters, Lego cuff links, leather bucket bags and other cool finds from more than 200 talents.
