New England is suddenly a hub for distilling, with producers sprouting up in our suburbs and industrial neighborhoods. Southie’s GrandTen produces some very interesting spirits, including gin mellowed in old bourbon barrels, a rum-based cranberry cordial and an herbal liqueur centered on angelica. We also love the GrandTen Bar, the distillery-adjacent product showcase that offers a rumpus room’s worth of fun in the form of foosball, vintage console video games and board games.
