Gracie’s owner Aaron Cohen named his Somerville shop—a fairly early entry in the artisanal ice cream trend—after his young daughter. Makes sense, as Funky flavors like In the Loop (raspberry with Froot Loops cereal), Fanta soda floats and an upcoming menu of instant-waffle sandwiches stuffed with torched Fluffernutter, jelly and more all make us feel like kids again. Also sweet: The parlor’s ongoing “Community Days” donate sales to orgs like local school PTAs.
