In the wake of the Parkland shootings earlier this year, chef Carl Dooley and pastry chef Mary Edinger of The Table at Season to Taste hope to affect change starting with a little food and conversation. To that end, the pair are hosting the Boston Chefs for Gun Safety dinner at the Wright-Locke Farm in Winchester on Sept. 17, when diners can chow down on a five-course meal—including one savory course described as a Mexican mixed grill—and wine pairings. The event will also include guest talks from representatives of Moms Demand Action Massachusetts and the Survivors Network, with all proceeds from the evening benefiting Everytown for Gun Safety. Bring your appetite and graze for a good cause at the Wright-Locke Farm on Sept. 17.
