Tremont Takeover: First Ever Live Local Music at the Wang

The Boch Wang Theatre’s stage has been graced by many acclaimed performers—but that tends to be where they stay. Local music agency Lysten Boston is inviting artists to step off the stage and into the Wang’s gilded lobby for the Tremont Takeover, for which it tapped a handful of other local outlets, including Boston Hassle, Mmmmaven and Allston Pudding, to help curate a one-of-a-kind show to represent the city’s diverse music scene. The talent taking over Tremont Street for the inaugural event includes hip-hop darling Dutch ReBelle, metal rockers Gozu, prolific DJ Coralcola and more. The sonic party is set to feature a photo booth, giveaways and swag from participating partners including Vanyaland and the Boch Center, so let loose in the lobby on Sept. 16. / Alexandra Cavallo
