Newton natives Leigh and Casey Isaacson are giving Boston singles something to wag their tails over with the recent launch of Dig, a mobile dating app for dog lovers. Already operating in Chicago, New Orleans and other cities, the app—which is a 2018 MassChallenge finalist—allows users to “dig” profiles they find fetching and also features deals from local pet purveyors and first-date locations that are four-legged-friend-friendly. “We quickly heard feedback from tons of Bostonians that it’s here where the app is really needed,” Leigh Isaacson says. “We’re bringing together the community of dog lovers in Boston in a new way.” We tapped the sisters for some breed-based dating profiles that give some insight into what users are looking for in a companion—for themselves and their pups.
