The Museum of Fine Arts was stuffed to the rafters with prominent A-listers when Boston Arts Academy—the city’s only public high school for the arts—held its Apollo Dinner Cabaret.
Prominent among the throng: the evening’s honoree, stunning actress (and BAA grad) Diane Guerrero, first lady of Red Sox Nation Linda Henry, the flawless Corinne Grousbeck, blond bombshell Jenny Johnson, Emerson president Lee Pelton, legal eagle Bill Schnoor, WGBH studmuffin Jared Bowen, intensely focused twins Wes and Paul Karger, arts boosters Susan and Bob Schechter, the drop-dead gorgeous Katherine Chapman Stemberg, wildly talented choreographer Levi Marsman, YMCA bigshot Aaron Donahue and so on and so forth.
The evening highlighted the school’s music program, and throughout cocktails and dinner, guests were entertained by superb performances. The night’s best remark: As guests were leaving, one woman looked at her friend and said, “Leave it to the gay guy to get the hottest girl at the party’s number.”
