On June 8, Cardinal Cushing Centers celebrated its 70th anniversary with its Springtime gala at the Seaport Hotel. Honoring former BNY Mellon exec Joanne Jaxtimer and the Sisters of St. Francis Assisi, the evening included a fashion show pairing Boston business leaders with children aided by the charity. The 420 guests raised $430,000 to support the classes and job training the centers provide to children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
