It was Bring Your Doggie to Fenway Day when MSPCA-Angell hosted Dogs on Deck, a “barktail party” for animal lovers and their four-legged friends. Held on the Third Base Deck at Fenway Park, the evening included an extensive silent auction, a potent signature cocktail, delicious little nibbles and a thoroughly entertaining intertwining of leashes, along with multiple opportunities to use the word “bitch” with impunity.
Front and center: Catwoman Ashley Wisneski, brunette babe Heather Colleary, the always delightful Jessica and Andrew Nigrelli, the Baron of Langley, Stuart Madnick, and his Straight Outta St. Tropez wife, Yvonne, with their aptly named pooch, Bijoux, redheaded radio siren Kennedy Elsey and her main canine, Elvis, a woman who resembled her poodle to a disturbing degree and another wearing a dress with a dog print who carried a handbag shaped like a pug.
The evening’s most amusing remark: “Of course I’m great at training dogs. I’m a middle-aged Asian woman without any children.”
