The Associates of the Boston Public Library held its 30th annual Literary Lights gala at the Boston Park Plaza on April 22. The evening’s 500 guests enjoyed a black-tie dinner and speeches honoring writers from the Northeast while raising more than $550,000 toward the charity’s mission of conserving the library’s collections of rare books, manuscripts and other significant historical items.
