Few places are as magical as the Esplanade at dusk. Add in a beautifully decorated tent with an Airstream trailer serving cocktails and a swanky crowd ready to get down, and you’ve got yourself the Moondance Gala.
A fundraiser for the Esplanade Association, the elegant evening took place near the statue of Arthur Fiedler, and it attracted the likes of co-chairs Matthew and Lori Sidman, the swanlike Carol Deane, party pair Neal Balkowitsch and Donald
Nelson, Back Bay beautiful people Tamar and Ken Frieze, the incomparably lovely Julie Gordon and her dashing husband, Phil, brunette bombshell Jeryl Oristaglio and her rock star other half, Steve, fashion designer Remy Schaefer Stressenger, the dazzling Allison O’Neil and one person who said, “I needed a can of WD-40 to get into my dress this evening.”
However, the evening’s best exchange was this: “You’re looking sharp.”
“Well, I’m feeling kind of prickly.”
