The Seaport offers unparalleled harbor views, among other draws, but until recently, it was not a destination for comedy. (Unless you count the amusement of watching drunk 20-somethings teeter out of waterfront bars on summer weekends.) That changed with the addition of Laugh Boston, the 300-seat comedy club from the co-founders of Improv Asylum, which opened in the Westin Waterfront Hotel in 2013. Since then, the stand-up-focused sibling has been a formidable venue for both up-and-coming locals and nationally touring names. And you can even brave the stage yourself at Karaoke or Die, where comedian judges offer color commentary on hopeful contenders.
