2016 Winner: The Canadian Invasion

While many Americans have been threatening to move to Canada after the election, Canadian brands have been crossing the border to set up shop in Boston. Women’s boutique Aritzia has trend seekers covered with a 6,000-square-foot store in the Pru, and Newbury Street welcomed m0851’s Montreal-made shawl hood coats and soft leather bags. Other Newbury newcomers include Kit and Ace, purveyor of machine-washable silk and cashmere streetwear, and the first U.S. location of dapper menswear retailer Frank + Oak. Pretty great, eh?
