​Lovin’ Spoonfuls Ul​timate Tailgate Party

With all due respect to truck bed hot dogs and Solo cups of light beer, Lovin’ Spoonfuls’ Ultimate Tailgate Party is our kind of tailgate. The sixth annual benefit for the local food rescue features some of the city’s top toques cooking elevated tailgate bites, live entertainment, an auction, beer, wine, cocktails and more. This year’s party features 24 chefs from the likes of Puritan & Co., La Brasa, Townsman, UNI, Select Oyster Bar and Mei Mei Street Kitchen, plus an appearance by celeb foodie Andrew Zimmern and a VIP-hour award ceremony for chef Jamie Bissonnette, who’ll take home the Thomas M. Menino Award for Leadership. Blue Dragon’s Ming Tsai presides as emcee.
